Fox Bros. in Nashville, TN

They’re at it again. Marking almost two years since their last dinner together, Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q and Carey Bringle are teaming up; this time in Nashville, Tenn. On Sunday, June 29, Jonathan and Justin Fox will join their good friend at his Nashville restaurant, Peg Leg Porker, to celebrate the brotherhood of barbecue with a good ole' Texas thrown down.

For $55 per person, guests will enjoy libations, a traditional Texas meat plate and homemade Bananas Foster Fried Pie (made with Peg Leg Porker bourbon). The meal will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with welcome hour on the patio, featuring a variety of appetizers, including a Frito Pie Croquette; Fox Bros. creative spin on the traditional Texas dish. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet and greet all three pitmasters and sip on signature cocktails made with Peg Leg Porker Tennessee Straight Bourbon Whiskey. At 7:30 p.m. diners will move inside, where they will sit down at a customary Texas table-scape filled with Sliced White Bread, Pickles, Jalapeños, Cheddar Cheese, and Sliced Tomatoes, followed by passed plates of Brisket, Smoked Turkey, Sausage, and Salt and pepper Spare Ribs hot off the smoker.

Two years ago, Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q hosted Bringle at their barbecue spot in the Candler Park neighborhood of Atlanta. Jonathan, Justin and Carey have continued to grow and flourish in the barbecue and culinary community since then, participating in events together including Hogs for the Cause, in New Orleans, and Memphis in May. “These are our favorite kinds of dinners: hanging out with old friends, meeting new friends and cooking good food,” said Jonathan Fox. “We’re also excited to show Music City what we are all about here in Atlanta.”
