Foxeria Del Sol

On Thursday, May 28, Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q and Taqueria del Sol are joining forces again for a “Foxeria del Sol” dinner. Held at Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q, Foxeria del Sol will benefit Hogs for the Cause, a nonprofit organization that operates as the premier funding source for pediatric brain cancer outreach services in the United States. 
 
Foxeria del Sol will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with passed appetizers and beverages provided by Cathead Vodka and Abita Brewing Company. Following the cocktail reception, guests will enjoy a collaborative four-course menu of sweet and savory dishes prepared by Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q, Taqueria del Sol, and special guests Rene Louapre, Zandy Rainold, and Andrew Shuford from New Orleans, representing Hogs for the Cause.

The Foxeria del Sol is a continuation of an ongoing partnership between Fox Bros. and Taqueria del Sol. In August 2014, the restaurants co-hosted their first “Foxeria del Sol” event at the Westside location of TDS. Both restaurants donated 100% of the profits from ticket, beverage, and t-shirt sales to Hogs for the Cause – a total of $21,400. In March 2015, Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q, Taqueria del Sol, and Charleston’s Home Team BBQ each hosted a day of giving in advance of their trip to Hogs for the Cause 2015. Collectively, Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q and Taqueria del Sol have raised more than $54,000 for pediatric brain cancer support via Hogs for the Cause.
